BY COWARDICE OR COURAGE is a series of still-life photographs that uses objects taken from the artist´s youth and placed against the backdrop of her childhood home to explore, reflect and repel dominant cultural constructs relating to femininity, domesticity and childhood. The resultant images, often unsettled and awkward in feeling, conjure issues of trauma and memory.
